About the Tour

A medieval temple where you can see the world’s largest monolithic Nandi, India’s largest mural painting dating from the 1500s/1600s, and some spectacular architecture and sculpture. Interested?

Carnelian invites you to Lepakshi, well-known to historians and art lovers for its mural paintings, its larger-than-life sculpture and architecture. Marvel at its murals with us, follow the stories in its sculptures, and uncover the many layers in this complex and stunning temple.

We leave Bangalore at 6:30 am and return at around 5:00 pm. Lepakshi is a 2.5 hour drive from Bangalore.
